Now, on to the ratings:

  • Presentation

I totally love the bottle and color scheme. It comes in a brownish, stout glass bottle with a click-on cap that goes on snugly. There is a stylish indentation running along the sides of the bottle that makes it feel that much better in the hand. The fragrance name is etched on a golden plate at the front of the bottle which gives it a high-quality look and feel. The overall theme here is the brown and gold which invoke thoughts of leather and premium before you even whiff it. 8/10

  • Juice

Seeing as this fragrance was designed around the main note of leather, the first thing you smell is *surprise surprise* leather; leather with a peppery hint. It may seem a bit simplistic on the surface but once the fragrance starts to dry down, the leather soothes down a bit and the vibrant animalic amber protrudes through to give you soft, warm vibes along with a hint of rose. Very Middle-Eastern.

If I were to describe the scent in layman’s terms, I would say to me it smells like leather + a smoky cigar. No joke.

The first time I smelled it, I fell in love with it. 7/10

  • Performance

Leather Blend projects well, above average. As for longevity, well let’s put it this way: I would describe it as almost mutant-like in its ability to remain on the skin. Even after scrubbing with soap and water, I still smelled it on my skin. And that was after 5-6 hours. This one is best worn on cool fall nights in a casual setting. My wife gave it to me as a gift because she loved the way it smelled after I had her smell it but besides that, I personally haven’t received too many compliments wearing it yet.
